What to pack:

No new dogs from November 1 - January 1

A: Yes, we provide Dog Camp at our home. Your dog(s) will be treated as a member of our family to hang out, watch tv, play in one of our five play yards and even sleep in the bed! When they are left alone, they will have their own private suite with a dog bed and/or human furniture and fresh water away from our family dogs. Crates are not used unless requested by the client or if a need arises during their stay. Our family dogs are very social, well-behaved and accepting of 4-legged visitors in their home. We also have a K9 Guesthouse with four suites and 8 traditional kennel runs. The suites all have flat screen televisions as well as couches or raised dog beds. The kennel runs all have raised dogs beds as well. We do ask that campers be up-to-date on shots.

A: Yes, our home and K9 guesthouse are handicap accessible. Our own dogs are aging and we have made our home as user-friendly for them as possible. We even have stairs to the bed for those who may want to sleep in the bed but now have a harder time getting up and down.

A: Yes, we are well-versed in the medical needs of pets. We have given insulin to family pets and have lots of experience giving pills to dogs and cats. There is no additional charge to dispensing medication.

Q: How far in advance do I need to book my reservation?
A: We prefer two weeks notice, however, we will do the best to work with your schedule and understand that emergencies happen. If clients wish to leave a key on hand at Dancing Dog Bed and Biscuit, it is easier for us to schedule at the last minute. Keys are coded and kept in our locked safe. Holiday seasons fill up quickly, so it is best to schedule as far in advance during those periods. Christmas is generally fully booked before Thanksgiving.

Q: Do you work holidays and weekends?
A: Yes, although we may not be open to the public. Arrivals and departures may not be available on holidays, or we may have shortened hours during holidays and/or holiday weekends.

Q: Do you provide overnight visits at the client’s home?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide overnight visits at your home. We do invite you to inquire about boarding though! Owners live on site, and it is a great alternative for dogs who may need extra attention and exercise as well as seniors who need extra TLC.

Q: Are you bonded and insured?
A: We are fully insured through Kennel Pro/Travelers Insurance. Since we are an owner/operator business, a bond is not necessary. We are also members of IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) as well as IBPSA (International Boarding and Pet Services Association).

Q: When is payment due?
A: Payment is due in full book your reservation and hold a space for your pet.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, we accept credit card payments via our online payment system.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

Q: Is your cancelation policy waived for Covid-related situations?
A: Unfortunately, Covid is now a part of our daily lives, and we no longer make exceptions to our cancellation policy due to Covid-related situations.
